Ru grew up in Singapore and moved to Australia to study in 2002. She graduated from Murdoch University in Western Australia in 2008 and moved to Adelaide after graduation. She has worked in several Adelaide veterinary practices and hospitals before joining the team at Magill Village Vet in 2016

She has a special interest in general medicine and dentistry.

In her own time Ru enjoys cooking, travelling, hiking and a good nap. Ru has several pets at home, including 2 Golden Retrievers named Roger & Andre and 2 cats named Mittens and Nami.
