Dr Jennifer Trewren
B.V.Sc. (First Class Honours), MANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine)
Jenni grew up in Brisbane, and moved to the Riverland in 1991, after graduating from University of Queensland – Bachelor of Veterinary Science with First Class Honours. She lived and worked in the Riverland until February 2021, when she moved to Adelaide.
She feels very privileged to have had the opportunity to provide veterinary care for so many wonderful Riverland pets over many years, and now in the Magill community.
She completed post-graduate studies in 1996 when she was awarded Membership of the Australian College of Veterinary Science in Small Animal Medicine. She also completed post-graduate studies in Feline Medicine in 2016. She has a special interest in Feline Medicine and is a passionate advocate for her patients.
Her menagerie currently consists of six fabulous felines – Alfie Sambucca and Ron Weasley (the big boys), Miss Gucci and Georgie Girl (the truly wonderful Burmese girls) and Billie and Dizzie (the beautiful Burmese babies). In addition to the fabulous felines, she also shares her world with an amazing husband!
Outside of work Jenni has been a member of Zonta International since 1995 and dedicates her “spare” time to making the world a better place for women and girls. She is currently District 23 Lieutenant Governor.
